Overview and characteristics of flow control valves

Overview

The flow control valve is a valve that relies on changing the fluid resistance of the orifice to control the flow of the orifice under a certain pressure difference, thereby adjusting the movement speed of the actuator (hydraulic cylinder or hydraulic motor). It mainly includes throttle valve, speed control valve, overflow throttle valve and diverter collector valve. The installation form is horizontal installation. The connection method is divided into flange type and thread type; welding type. Control and adjustment methods are divided into automatic and manual.

 Product features

The flow control valve, also known as the 400X flow control valve, is a multifunctional valve that uses a high-precision pilot method to control flow.

1. A change to the principle of reducing the area of the watershed by using an orifice plate or purely mechanical throttling valve, using related pilot valves to minimize the energy loss in the throttling process

2. High control sensitivity, safety and reliability, easy debugging and long service life.

The flow control valve can automatically achieve the flow balance of the system without an external power supply. The flow is limited by keeping the pressure difference between the front and rear of the orifice (fixed aperture) constant, so it can also be called a constant flow valve.

The object of the constant flow valve is flow, which can lock the amount of water flowing through the valve, not the balance of resistance. He can solve the problem of dynamic imbalance of the system: in order to maintain the high efficiency operation of a single refrigerator, boiler, cooling tower, heat exchanger, etc., it is necessary to control the flow of these equipment to be fixed at the rated value; from the end of the system, in order to avoid The mutual influence of dynamic adjustment also requires limiting the flow at the end device or branch.

The problem that should be paid attention to in the design, the disadvantage of the flow control valve is that the valve has a minimum working difference requirement. General products require a minimum working pressure difference of 20KPa. If installed on the most unfavorable circuit, it will inevitably require the circulating water pump to increase by 2 meters of water column. The working head should be installed at the near end and uneasy at the far end. Do not install this flow control valve when the user is away from the heat source more than 80% of the heating radius.
